An Open Letter from the Artist
Art, for me, has never been about form alone. It has always been about consciousness—about what moves the soul when words fall short.
Over the years, my journey as an abstract artist has taken me through themes of healing, silence, struggle, and transformation. My previous body of work, Healing Strokes, was born from an inner search for balance and restoration. It taught me that creation can heal—not only the artist, but those who encounter it.
Today, I stand at a more humbled and surrendered phase of that journey.
I am deeply grateful to share that my upcoming artwork series, “Lord Krishna in Abstract Form”, is coming soon.
This series is not an attempt to define Lord Krishna through visuals. Krishna cannot be confined to form. Instead, this body of work is my humble effort to feel, experience, and express Krishna consciousness through abstraction—through rhythm, color, movement, and silence.
Krishna, to me, is compassion without condition, guidance without force, love without possession. He is the eternal charioteer within each of us—quietly reminding us of our dharma in moments of confusion. Through this series, I seek to translate that presence into a contemporary visual language that speaks to the modern seeker while remaining rooted in devotion.
Every artwork in this series is created as an offering—not as ownership, but as seva.
Not as decoration, but as contemplation.
I approach this work with humility, prayer, and gratitude, aware that art becomes sacred only when intention is pure.
As this series prepares to unfold, I invite you not just to view it—but to pause, feel, and reflect.
May it remind us of surrender in chaos, faith in uncertainty, and love beyond ego.
With folded hands and an open heart,
Saikat Sarkar
